Probably yes.
Most Floridians who think they "make too much" or "can't afford" health insurance actually qualify for substantial financial help. The numbers tell the real story.
If this is you, we can help.
ACA Marketplace plans are designed for people who don't have employer-sponsored health insurance. If you're in any of these situations, you may qualify for affordable coverage.

Aging Out of Parents' Plan
Turning 26 means you can no longer stay on your parents' health insurance. ACA Marketplace plans designed for young adults often cost less than you'd think.
Pre-Existing Conditions
ACA plans cannot deny you or charge more for pre-existing conditions. Diabetes, cancer, mental health — every plan must cover essential health benefits.
Two ways the government helps you pay.
Most people don't realize how much help is available. There are two distinct types of financial assistance that can dramatically reduce what you pay for health insurance.
Premium Tax Credits (PTC)
These reduce your monthly premium — sometimes to $0. Available for households with income between 100% and 400% of the federal poverty level (and beyond, thanks to recent legislation). Many self-employed and middle-income families qualify for hundreds of dollars in monthly savings.
Cost Sharing Reductions (CSR)
These reduce your deductibles, copays, and out-of-pocket costs when you actually use your insurance. Available for households below 250% of the federal poverty level. Can save you thousands per year on actual healthcare costs.
Did life change? Apply now.
Open Enrollment runs from November 1 to January 15. Outside that window, you can still enroll if you've experienced a qualifying life event in the last 60 days.

Frequently asked questions.
How much does ACA health insurance cost in Florida?
It varies dramatically based on your income and family size. With subsidies, many Floridians pay between $0 and $100 per month. Without subsidies, plans typically range from $400-700/month for an individual. The only way to know your exact cost is to check your eligibility — which we do for free.
What's the difference between ACA and Medicaid?
Medicaid is free or very low-cost coverage for very low-income individuals and families (varies by state). ACA Marketplace plans are subsidized private health insurance for people whose income is above Medicaid limits. Florida has not expanded Medicaid, so many Floridians fall in a "coverage gap" — but ACA subsidies have been expanded to help fill that gap. We can help you figure out which one applies to your situation.
I missed Open Enrollment. Can I still get coverage?
Possibly yes! If you've experienced a qualifying life event in the last 60 days (lost job-based coverage, got married, had a baby, moved to Florida, etc.), you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP). Even without a qualifying event, certain low-income individuals can enroll year-round. Call us to check your specific situation.
What if my income changes during the year?
Report it to the Marketplace as soon as possible. If your income goes up, your subsidy might decrease (and you'd owe the difference at tax time). If your income goes down, your subsidy might increase, lowering your monthly premium. We help our clients update their info throughout the year — that's part of our ongoing service, not just enrollment.
¿Cuánto cuesta usar sus servicios?
Nada.
